The Difference

As I Get Older..........I recognize that the difference between being young and being old is that when you are young, being young is all you know.  When you get old you know them both and you know the difference.

AMEN?

As I Get Older........acknowledging the presence of God and praising Him/Her becomes a constant activity.
Looking back over my life I know that a higher power was always working for my good.  The song says "I've come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord"........AMEN.    AMEN?

Crossroads of Life

As I Get Older.........I've learned that when you come to one of life's many crossroads and you don't know what  to do........ don't do anything.  Just Stop,Wait and Listen for guidance and direction.  Life itself will direct you.  Be Ready.

Put Your Own Oxygen Mask on First

As  I Get Older............I realize that it is not selfish to take care of your self first.  As a matter of fact it is the kindest, most loving thing that you can do for the people you love.  That is why the instructions on the airplane say to put on your own oxygen mask first.  If you take care of yourself, you are more able to take care of your loved ones.  If you don't take care of yourself, they may have to end up taking care of you! 
Now that is selfish!!!

The Only One

As I Get Older............I notice that people are more alike than different yet each of us is still the "only one".

People vs Things

As I get older.......... I realize more and more how important good people and healthy relationships are to me.  I know now that things may come and things may go but good people and healthy relationships are what you can count on in times of joy or sorrow.  I also realize that when I find a "good person" it is so essential to do the necessary work and I do mean work, to create a healthy lasting relationship that is based on agape love and respect.  Yes, people are now far more valuable to me than "things" could ever be.......YES!!!!

The Mirror

As I get older...........the face I see in the mirror is not the face I see in my mind.
